Frank, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, always envisioned opening a restaurant that would deliver fresh, high-quality dishes crafted with love. Committed to using quality ingredients, not cutting corners and honoring the rich flavors of each dish. From perfectly charred pizzas to delicious pasta dishes and desserts. Franks mission extends beyond serving food; he strives to serve real food cooked with real fire that brings joy to the community. Every dish is crafted with love, as Frank and his teammates dedicate themselves to making Fire Forno a place where flavor and community thrive.
For over 25 years, Frank Cresci has immersed himself in the vibrant world of the restaurant industry, captivated by the joy of families gathering over a meal. This passion runs deep in the Cresci family, who were among the founding families of Fisherman’s Wharf’s renowned crab stands in San Francisco. This legacy has fueled Frank’s journey and commitment to excellence.
Frank always had a dream of opening a restaurant that would celebrate the love of BIG FLAVORS where friends, family and the community would enjoy. Fire Forno is a concept forged from some of Frank's favorite flavors which are wood-fired pizza, incredible pasta dishes and the coldest beer in town!
Our mission at Fire Forno is simple: to create a welcoming space where friends, family and the entire community can gather to enjoy exceptional and affordable food and drink. Our open kitchen design invites guests to witness the artistry of our chefs and cooks as they craft each dish. We believe in the power of great food to bring people together, reminiscent of the Cresci family’s Sunday crab and pasta feasts.
